Martin Luther King Jr. Day & Black History Month Celebrations
Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta Event
Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta are partnering on a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day event to include:
- A keynote speaker, Alexander Horton will talk about Dr. King’s life and viewpoints, as well as his speech.
- Two students (an 11-year-old and a SUNY student) will read their winning MLK essays.
- A student will sing Dr. King’s favorite song.
- A panel discussion consisting of both Hartwick and SUNY Oneonta students and faculty.
- A reception will follow this event.
