The Hartwick Institute of Public Service has partnered with The Daily Star to provide all Hartwick College students with free digital access to The Daily Star for the 2024-2025 academic year.

To sign up, students simply need to share their name, email and phone number on this spreadsheet or email Professor of Political Science and Department Chair Laurel Elder at [email protected]. With this access, students can stay informed about local, state and national news directly on their phones or through The Daily Star app.

This partnership supports the Hartwick Institute of Public Service’s mission to engage students in local politics and government.

Adilyam Imyarova ’27 will work with the institute’s co-directors, Professors Matt Chick, Laurel Elder and Zachary McKenney, on a range of projects, including preparing Hartwick to serve as an official polling place for the fall’s elections.
