Students develop ideas to bring fresh, healthy food to Hartwick students.

The Global Seal of Biliteracy is a credential that can be earned after high school and complements the state Seal of Biliteracy.

The annual contest, which Stephen L. Green ‘59, PM ‘05, founded in 2012, challenges Hartwick students to write an essay that answers the prompt, “What is your assessment of the state of democracy in the United States, and what are three specific things you recommend in order to strengthen American democracy?”

The Inclusive Business Award is the result of collaborative efforts by SUNY Oneonta’s Office of Equity and Inclusion, the President’s Council on Diversity’s Community Outreach and Engagement and Campus Climate subcommittees, and Hartwick College’s Offices of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging and Human Resources, Inclusion and Compliance.

Hartwick College has been selected to join the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomacy Lab, a partnership that harnesses the efforts of students and faculty at a select group of colleges and universities across the country to solve real-world challenges related to foreign policy.

Networking was the central theme of the latest chapter of the Hartwick Career Overnight Program (HOP), which found students, faculty, alumni, and staff touring the Washington, D.C. metro area last week.

Honors Week allows us to truly celebrate the exceptional work of our students,” said Cherilyn Lacy, Assistant Dean of Faculty.

Beginning this fall, the sports management minor will offer courses in team and athlete management, marketing, analytics and budgeting, and event planning.

Students enjoyed learning about life at Hartwick during the Taste of Wick in Lambros Arena and then broke into groups based on their majors for some hands-on activities.
