Our top priority is providing access to Hartwick’s transformational experience, and we are unrelenting in this commitment. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, Hartwick has already achieved much in the expansion of access and opportunity. With national rankings of #9 for largest merit scholarships* and #26 for social mobility,^ our diverse student population is one of our greatest assets. We currently invest close to $60 million annually in comprehensive financial aid to 99% of students, and each year dozens of first-generation graduates cross our commencement stage.
Unrestricted gifts to the Hartwick Fund, is where we find resources to develop new ideas and invest in emerging curriculum and opportunities. It serves as the foundation for the Hartwick College experience and continues to be our highest funding priority. Every donor to the Hartwick Fund can have an immediate impact with their gift.

Scholarships and Other Aid
Hartwick assures that every student, regardless of family income, has access to career-oriented, hands-on learning. Help us provide more funded internships, fellowships and research options, so that our students have greater experiential options and chance for success.
THE HARTLAND PROMISE
Our community’s needs are just as vital. The HartLand Promise allows students in nine neighboring counties to attend Hartwick at a cost comparable to a SUNY university center. It’s a continuation of Hartwick’s historic commitment to educating the region.
The Hartwick Fund
Donors who support the mission, cause, and purpose of Hartwick College support the Hartwick Fund. This is the fund that fuels new opportunities, builds fledgling programs and sustains the time honored Hartwick experience for all students and faculty.
