The Campaign for Hartwick

Creativity, civic engagement and leadership investments

$3.5M

All our campaign pillars are interconnected, and this pillar stands as the foundation of the quintessential Hartwick experience. There is no greater purpose than ensuring that Hartwick, and its students, make a difference in their communities and have a great impact on the world. Since our beginning , Hartwick has created opportunities for students to engage with cutting-edge issues, providing solutions to the region, and connecting with industry leaders around the globe.

Our students serve their neighbors in countless ways. They help entrepreneurs become more efficient and competitive. They lead service-learning initiatives to benefit nonprofits. Their research uncovers new ways to make our region healthy and attractive. No matter what they study, they share that knowledge making the place they call home better today and tomorrow.

The Hartwick community has launched several institutes and centers to focus these efforts and ensure they are scalable and sustainable. Building on historic strengths, investments in these areas of distinction will instill a sense of community and an enduring purpose to resolve tomorrow’s challenges and leverage interconnected networks to make the world better.

President's INNOVATION FUND

Established in 2022, this fund provides resources to leverage opportunities as they present themselves to the College President. It is designed to empower the president to immediately leverage a new connection to invest in previously unplanned growth opportunities. A  future-focused College needs the investment to respond nimbly to emerging opportunities and cutting-edge programs, and this fund allows the president to exactly that.

This $50 million campaign centers on five areas which we must grow for our graduates to thrive and overcome modern-day challenges to succeed and create a global impact.
