Hartwick Appoints Two New Institutional Advancement Leaders

Recognizing the crucial role of philanthropy in its forward momentum, Hartwick College welcomes Rita Dibble as assistant vice president for philanthropy and,
Stacey Grady '03 as director of corporate and foundation relations.

Dibble brings 25 years of fundraising experience to her new role at Hartwick – 20 of which has been spent creating and fostering a culture of philanthropy in higher education. She has served as university advancement vice president at three institutions, including Peirce College, Metropolitan State University, and Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. Dibble brings two decades of experience leading advancement divisions, strategic planning, corporate and community partnerships, and campaign management.

A native of India, Dibble has traveled to 24 countries, lived in four and is fluent in three languages. She graduated with a master’s degree in English Language and Literature from Maharaja Sayajirao University in Vadodara, India, and a second in mass communications from the S. I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University.

Stacey Grady ’03 is no stranger to Oyaron Hill, having worked at her alma mater from 2007 to 2011 before spending the last 12 years fundraising in the health and human services sector. Grady is a certified fund-raising executive and previously served as board president for the State University at Oneonta’s Cooperstown Graduate Association and the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce.

Grady said one thing she immediately noticed on her return to Hartwick was the College’s level of compassion.

Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations

As Hartwick’s director of corporate and foundation relations, Grady will lead college-wide research, strategy, and execution of cultivating relationships with foundations, corporations, and other grant-making organizations. Working collaboratively with institutional leadership and faculty, she will identify and obtain grants to support priority institutional projects, faculty research, and special programs.
