Rita Dibble

Assistant Vice President for Philanthropy

Rita Dibble brings 25 years of fundraising experience with 20+ years spent in creating and fostering a culture of philanthropy in the healthcare and higher education sectors. She has served as University Advancement Vice President at three institutions before coming to Hartwick College.

She brings two decades of experience in leading advancement divisions, strategic planning, corporate and community partnerships. She has led three comprehensive and capital campaign teams and served as advancement consultant to educational institutions in India, notable among them was the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur.

A native of India she has traveled to 24 countries, lived in four and is fluent in three languages. She came to the US as a graduate ambassador with Rotary International. She graduated with a master’s degree in English Language and Literature from Maharaja Sayajirao University in Vadodara India and a second master’s degree in mass communications from the S. I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University. She has served as a DEI trainer with the American Cancer Society, is an experienced public speaker, and a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE).
