Many Career Paths

Every business needs a website, and those websites need designers. You’ll start by understanding the basics of coding and programming, allowing you to develop strong skills in user experience and visual design for static sites and apps on desktop and mobile.

Strong foundations in Digital Media, business, and creative writing will further empower you to tell the story, and by the time you graduate, you’ll have a portfolio and a digital resume to show employers you have the skills to succeed.

An Education Built for You

Web design isn’t just for Computer Science majors. Pair your studies with courses in business administration, art, creative writing – really any program – to find your niche in web design and use your creative talents to present an attractive design and powerful copy. Your Academic Advisor will work with you to plan the courses that will help you meet the requirements, while also allowing you to find your way in the field.

Your Career Coach will help you find internships to help you hone your skills in the workplace, while your Alumni Mentor will offer you their personalized advice for finding success in your field.

In your senior year, you’ll design a website as your senior thesis, putting the final piece of your portfolio into place and preparing you to launch your web design career.
