Health Initiatives

The Hartwick College Office of Health Promotion programs help students in the life-long development of a healthy lifestyle.

We provide opportunities for personal growth and development by engaging and connecting the entire Hartwick community.

Peer Health Educators lead programs and events on topics such as alcohol and other drug education, relationships and healthy sexuality, nutrition, sleep, and other health-related topics. These may take a number of forms, from interactive to peer-facilitated discussion.

We conduct campus-wide awareness campaigns for Love Your Body Week, World AIDS Day, Safe Spring Break Week, Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Bras Across Campus and others. Our events include informational fairs, community events, free giveaways, Zumbathons, and more.
