Quarterly index to cultural anthropology, linguistics, archaeology, physical anthropology. Issues alternate between linguistics/cultural anthropology and archaeology/physical anthropology. Also available in paper in the reference section – see call #.

Anthropological Index Online
Online access to the Anthropological Index published by the Royal Anthropological Institute. Includes full indexing for v. 22 (1984) through v. 32 (1994), but some indexing is available for earlier and later years. Searching by word, subject heading, author, title and journal abbreviation is possible.

Ebsco Academic Search (1975-current)
This database is the world’s largest scholarly, multidisciplinary database, including coverage of over 12,000 journals, with full text for over 4,500 of these, 3,600 of which are peer reviewed publications.  

Handbook of Latin American Studies
Bibliography of scholarship on Latin American studies published by the Library of Congress. An annual, the Handbook alternates coverage of the humanities and the social sciences each year. All volumes since 1935 (including future volumes in draft stage) are online and available for searching.

Humanities International Complete (1960s – current) 
Available on Ebsco, Humanities International Complete provides full text of hundreds of journals, books and other published sources from around the world. The database includes all data from Humanities International Index (over 2,000 titles and 2 million records) plus unique full text content, much of which is not found in other databases.

JSTOR 
Search and retrieve the back files of over 575 core scholarly journals from various disciplines including 16 Anthropology journals and 11 Archaeology journals. Full-text extends back to the 1800’s for some of the titles covered.

Population Index 
Index to literature relating to population studies.

SocINDEX with Full Text (Ebsco 1895-present)
Available through Ebsco. SocINDEX with Full Text features more than 1,660,000 records with subject headings from a 19,300 term sociological thesaurus. The database contains full text for 344 “core” coverage journals dating back to 1895, and 129 “priority” coverage journals. Also includes full text for more than 700 books and monographs, and full text for 6,800 conference papers.
